I had the bull eye rash some 40 years ago (65yrs old now) and still have a small scar on belt line. I was wiped out for a week sometime after and just layed in bed. I don't know lyme disease was a thing back then and being young didn't even go to a doctor. I have been tested in my 40s/50s and again by rheumatologist resently but never tested positive. I've spent many yrs complaining to Drs about joint pain, fatigue, headaches etc.
Now told by a rheumatologist I have Ankylosing spondylitis. Can Lyme cause this type of arthritis or is it I've never tested positive, its way too late to test and diag w/ lyme.
