I talked with a woman who had suffered from neuropathy as a result of Lyme disease that she got in central Oregon. Her doctor in France recommended Niagen (nicotinamide riboside). She told me that after taking 600 mg for two months that the pain was gone, and remained away as long as she took the vitamin. Previously, the pain was so significant that she said she couldn't walk more than few steps. I know a guy who takes Niagen to very successfully control the pain associated with chemotherapy that he had decades ago. I have read that Niagen is the only variant in the B-3 vitamins that enters the nerve cells. My search this morning showed that four prestigious research facilities are currently running trials regarding this. See: Search of: nicotinamide riboside | Peripheral Neuropathy - List Results - ClinicalTrials.gov
