Let's talk about symptoms guys! I checked several sources and made a compilation of symptoms, I hope this helps someone out. I'll be focusing on the symptoms you experience after the initial stage.

- Bell's palsy
- Numbness or weakness in your limbs
- Erythema migrans
- Joint pain
- Impaired muscle movement
- Meningitis
-Severe headaches
- Neck stiffness
-Dizziness
- Shortness of breath
- Inflammation of the spinal cord and the brain
- Short term memory issues
- Tingling in hands and feet
- Nerve pain

Some less common symptoms include:

Hepatitis
Severe fatigue
Eye inflammation

My main sources where the Mayo clinic and the CDC site :) Remember this compilation is not supposed to be used to diagnose Lyme, it was created with the sole purpose of guiding and educating. If you suspect you might have Lyme, see a specialist, and get tested.

The biggest ones for my niece were the headaches and dizziness, she actually was also assumed to have either IBS or Crohn's for a while given some other digestive issues and overall fatigue - the fatigue especially I think made one of her doctors assume Crohn's or IBS when it wasn't those. It's definitely hard when there's a lot of illnesses that have similar symptoms, and especially for children's diagnosis I think it can be tough as I think a lot of the time they can't necessarily be as specific about how they're feeling or what is hurting.

Very often IBS is suffered by those with fibro, as well as fatigue. Sadly those symptoms can be confused with so many different diseases, but I am glad to heard your niece got the right diagnosis. Her doctor must be a really good one, most doctors fail to reach the right diagnosis, specially with this kind of diseases.
