Hello! My doctor ordered blood work done to see if I have Lyme Disease. I looked at my patient portal and this is what was there:

Ratio >= 1.10 indicates antibodies to B. burgdorferi were detected. This indicates evidence of presumptive exposure. Result should be evaluated in conjunction with results of Western immunoblot assay. Test performed with Borrelia VlsE1/pepC10 IgG/IgM Zeus ELISA.

Ratio: 5.78 Western Blot

My doctor's office called me to say that they are having my blood work re-tested to see if it is acute or chronic and that the results round be back in about five days. I believe they said it is an IgM test. Can you please kindly tell me what additional test that would be? Also, does that seem normal for the results to take that long? It has been five days since they said they want to retest my blood work. I deeply appreciate your opinions. I should add that I was bitten by a deer tick a month ago. Many thanks!
