    That is great! I think making this part of the children's education is a big step towards Lyme awareness. I hope they start doing this kind of things in more and more states! Actually anything health related should be a must, and yes, I'm talking about things like nutrition and such!

    It also depends on where you live, some areas are affected more heavily by infected ticks, if you live in one of those heavily hit zones then better be careful. I'm lucky to live in a zone where very few Lyme cases have been reported :)

    I think this is a very complicated issue :( I strongly beleive we need to spread more awareness towards this disease, because if we did people in countries like Canada wouldn't have to be traveling to the US in order to get an accurate Lyme diagnosis.

    Yeah, they have free universal health care in Canada, but it comes with limitations. I think the problem is that they don't have so much experience with Lyme disease over there. I think in my country it would be even harder, but lately there have been some talks and meetings, hopefully...
