Default Lyme disease cases hitting record highs

In Canada and specifically Toronto, Lyme disease cases are hitting record highs, and these are the cases that are known, diagnosed, and registered by Health Canada.

There an interesting read by the Toronto Star, Lyme disease cases hit record highs as tick populations expand.

Over 50% more cases reported in 2017 versus 2016 due to the growing number of tick populations.
