This is a case study on a 56 year old patient who contracted Lyme disease as a teen but never had it treated, and eventually developed a 6-year set of persistent symptoms:
  1. diffuse arthralgia (=joint pain in various joints),
  2. migratory neuropathies (=neurological symptoms that migrate all over the body)
  3. and progressive severe limb weakness, in both upper and lower limbs.

The patient also presented:
Chronic fatigue, depression, short term memory-loss and a difficulty in finding the right words.

The patient was given Immume Immunoglobin* intravenously, as well as supplements and the anti-inflamatory drug flavone luteolin and antibiotics for 9 months.
After 2-3 months there were already signs of improvement and after 9 months the patient was entirely symptom-free.

Although the symptoms have receded, that doesn't mean the Post-Lyme Syndrom is gone completely, therefore the routine wasn't discontinued; it's still ongoing, with no side-effects so far.

*Immune Immunoglobin is a method of treating antibody deficiencies.
